International policies governing access to plant genetic resources and benefit-sharing

The Global Wheat Germplasm Conservation and Use Community Expert Working Group and the Wheat Initiative are very pleased to collaborate with Isabel Lopez Noriega and Michael Halewood from the Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT and coordinators of the CGIAR Genebank Platform Policy Module.

This seminar is addressed to the wheat community with interest in learning about international laws governing  access to genetic resources and the sharing of benefits arising from the use of those resources. The aim of the seminar is to help participants (wheat researchers, pre-breeders, breeders and farmers) to understand the ways in which these conventions apply to their work.
